Undocumented individuals with a valid SSN may apply for unemployment. There are also a number of resources available to you under federal and California law.
If you have lost your job and don't have an SSN, the state is now accepting applications for the Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants (DRAI). To apply for DRAI benefits, you must call Jewish Family Services of San Diego at 858-206-8281 (San Diego County) or 760-206-3242 (Imperial County); Jewish Family Services of San Diego is the designated nonprofit providing application services in San Diego and Imperial counties.
