• Instructor participation is completely voluntary, and is not required. Instructors reserve the right to have a cap on the number of honors contracts they can accommodate in each section they choose to offer them in.

• Instructors work directly with Coordinator to establish, maintain, and offer optional Honors contracts in the regular classes they are assigned each term. Instructors should clearly articulate what the extra workload will be for Honors students (20% additional, or more), and how that will be added to the regular course syllabus. 这些都是在每学期公布的截止日期前交的.
• Honors contracts are solely with identified students in your regular course, who do extra work in addition to the standard course requirements. The entire section will not be considered Honors, nor classified as such in the schedule.
• Please reach out to Coordinator ahead of time if you have questions, and to make her aware of what extra work you are requiring for the students who are completing an Honors contract in your class.
