The Honors 经验 at Grossmont大学 is driven by the college’s vision of student success and empowerment through a culture of inclusivity, antiracism, and equity. The Program is separate from the College's GPA distinctions for honors recognition at graduation; a student who is recognized for Honors academic distinction without completing the 荣誉项目 is not eligible to use the resources outlined for Program participants. Honors programming at Grossmont is committed to foster the spirit of academic excellence through student and faculty dedication to scholarly endeavors. The 荣誉项目 is one of the many ways in which Grossmont大学 provides educational leadership through learning opportunities that anticipate, prepare for, and meet the future challenges of a complex democratic and a global society.

College students should have a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher after completion of 12 college degree applicable units.

While there is no Math requirement for eligibility, students are encouraged to enroll in the appropriate transfer level MATH course aligned with their educational objectives.
All students who intend to complete the Honors 经验 must submit a completed Honors 经验 Application Form to the office of the 荣誉协调员.
Students who meet the requirements for participation but do not want to complete the program are welcome to register in honors classes.
Students who are interested in the honor experience but do not meet all the requirements may petition the 荣誉协调员 for a waiver of the requirements. Students petitioning for a waiver must request a recommendation from an instructor teaching an honors course.
