Grossmont大学's 整形技术 program is the first in the country to be
awarded NAOT-Recognized status by the National Association of Orthopedic Technologists.
Students who graduate from an NAOT-Recognized program are immediately eligible to
take the NBCOT certification examination.
The one-year program is designed to provide 整形技术 graduates with lifetime
professional skills in a rapidly expanding healthcare field. All of the courses are
offered on campus at Grossmont大学 in the evening and clinical rotations are completed
at local hospitals and clinics.
什么是Ortho Tech？
Orthopedic Technologists are allied health professionals who assist Orthopedic Surgeons in the treatment of patients in a variety of healthcare environments. They are employed in hospitals, clinics, and private practice offices.
Orthopedic Technologists apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints, and braces. They also set up, adjust, and maintain traction configurations, assist with the care of acutely injured patients, and assist the physician in the reduction and/or manipulation of orthopedic injuries.
度的选择
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to receive a Certificate of Achievement from Grossmont大学并参加NBCOT认证考试. In addition, the student has the option to also pursue an Associate of Science Degree in 整形技术 which requires successful completion of the program along with all required general education requirements from the college.具体请参考当前的大学目录。
