Computer science is the study of computers and computing concepts. It includes both hardware and software, as well as networking and the Internet. The hardware aspect of computer science overlaps with electrical engineering. It covers the basic design of computers and the way they work. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science also includes courses in Math and 物理.

We offer a local Associate of Science (AS) degree, and an Associate of Science for Transfer Degree in Computer Science. These degrees can be earned in 4 semesters if you are a full-time student and prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution. A certificate of proficiency and certificate of achievement can be earned in as little as one to two semesters.
Certificates of Proficiency are designed for the student who needs to be prepared to enter an entry-level job. A department-issued certificate may be awarded upon successful completion of a prescribed course of study. This certificate will不出现在学生的成绩单上。
