Sometimes, we need to take a few classes to learn more about our interests and what career path(s) we would like to pursue in the future. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to begin by completing a few requirements like college English and Math. You can also take a variety of General Education courses that will introduce you to many academic disciplines and give you options for potential 学术和职业道路. Check out the sample course sequence below to see how you can intentionally explore your options without losing too much time or taking classes you may not need.

*English 120 is required by all students. When not considering a 茎 pathway, the two main options are Math 120 (Quantitative Reasoning) or Math 160 (Elementary Statistics). Math 120 is used in pathways of Arts or 人文学科, whereas Math 160 is designed more for Social & Behavioral Sciences and found as a requirement in many other pathways, including some 茎.

*English 120 is required by all students. When considering a 茎 pathway, there is usually a requirement for Calculus. If a student has placed just below Math 180, there are two options: take Math 175 (College Algebra) then complete Math 170 (Trigonometry) or take Math 176 (Pre-calculus).
