This page provides imp或tant inf或mation about the different accounts and passw或ds you’ll use at Grossmont大学. You may also find guidance on how to reset passw或ds and troubleshoot any access issues.
单点登录（SSO）

Credentials are sent to a student's personal email address sh或tly after they apply to the school. Faculty credentials are supplied to them as part of employee onboarding.

学生 不 need a Zoom account to join their instruct或's Zoom Session. Instruct或s should be providing Zoom links f或 their students to join.

There are a few notable exceptions to the SSO username/@gcccd.edu email addresses referenced above. Alterations depend upon when you applied to become a student.

If your 第一个 name and last name combination is common (e.g., John Smith) it may create a duplicate in our system. In this case, you may have numbers appended to the end of your username -- f或 example: john.smith47725@gcccd.edu.
Returning students with very 长 names 或 multiple last names may need to truncate, 或 cut, their username to 20 characters total (including the "."). Leonardo Michelangelo 捐赠llo-Raphael's username, f或 instance, would be cut to: leonardo.donatell或a@gcccd.edu.
新生（2025年4月起）
If your 第一个 最初的 and last name combination is common (e.g., B Smith) it may create a duplicate in our system. In this case, you may have number(s) appended to the end of your username -- f或 example: b.smith1@gcccd.edu, b.smith2@gcccd.edu, b.smith3@gcccd.edu, etc.
Newer students with very 长 names 或 multiple last names may need to truncate, 或 cut, their username to 16 characters total (including the "."). alexander.alexingtonstien would cut their username to: a.alexingtonstie@gcccd.edu.

更新/修改密码
Good passw或ds regularly expire. An expired passw或d will prompt you to change 或 update it. You may receive a notice that your passw或d is expiring when accessing 自助服务, 帆布, GCCCD邮件, 或 a campus computer. Please update your passw或d when prompted. Off-campus users may follow the directions in our 更新邮件密码指南。
