Cardiovascular technology focuses on heart (cardiac) and blood vessel (peripheral
vascular) issues. The cardiovascular technologist assists physicians in diagnosing
and treating heart and blood vessel ailments.
Students in our program are educated in the theoretical concepts and clinical application
of a broad spectrum of courses and techniques, including Cardiovascular Anatomy and
Physiology, Physical Principles of Medicine, Medical Instrumentation/Electronics,
and Clinical Practicum.

The 心血管技术 Program at Grossmont大学 is a two-year course of
study and requires a six-week summer session between the first and second years of
study, leading to an 联系 in Science Degree. Graduates enter the health care
profession as 心血管技术nologists.
