Nutrition degrees prepare students to understand how food affects our bodies and minds, equipping them with the knowledge to promote healthy eating habits and improve public health. The Associate in Science Nutrition degree is specifically designed to meet the requirements for transfer to local colleges with four-year didactic programs in dietetics (DPD) that prepare students to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists.
* Note that beginning in 2024, a minimum of a graduate degree will be required to sit for the registration exam to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
