人类学的目的是为人类的差异创造一个安全的世界。
人类学 is the study of all aspects of humans, from the time of the earliest
human ancestors to contemporary societies. Students of anthropology learn to develop
a broad perspective on humanity, apply scientific research methods, and work effectively
in a multi-cultural environment. These competencies can help students succeed in a
global society. A major in anthropology offers a solid foundation for students planning
undergraduate and graduate work in anthropology, archaeology, or related fields in
the social sciences or life sciences. 人类学 is an excellent background for
professional training in medicine, education, law, business or social work, and for
careers in the private sector, government and non-profit organizations.
