Since 1992, Grossmont大学 has provided English instruction to over a thousand F1-visa international students through the ACE Program. ACE helped students meet language proficiency requirements in order to study at Grossmont. 1. If you meet the Grossmont大学 English proficiency requirement, you can apply directly to Grossmont大学.

You can receive English support and improve your English skills by taking Grossmont College ESL (English as a Second Language) classes from intermediate to advanced levels. A college ESL class is 6 units and is recommended for all ESL students.

Per F1 visa rules, college students will enroll full-time (minimum 12 units per semester). In addition to an ESL class, you will choose 6 more units (usually 2 or 3 classes). During orientation, an international counselor will assist you to choose your classes.

Duolingo —最低分数为75分。（在线英语考试）
托福考试 —最低分数为45分。（机构代码：4334）。
雅思考试 -学术模块的最低分数为4.5分。
PTE英语语言测试|培生PTE —最低39分。
EIKEN —最低分数为 2a - 75% - 2級. （仅适用于以日语为母语的人）
Students in the U.S. may take the Grossmont大学 Institutional 英语水平 Assessment. This test must be taken in person at Grossmont大学. Please call 619-644-7200 or email grossmont.assessment@gcccd.edu 安排。

2. You may apply to another U.S. English school with conditional acceptance to Grossmont College.

Start at ACE to prep your English skills for college. Receive a certificate upon completion of program. Next, get started on your certificate or degree at Grossmont community college, at 1/4 - 1/3 less than the average cost at a 4-year university. Gain work experience via OPT. Transfer your credits -- perhaps to SDSU, UCSD, or USD -- to complete your bachelor's degree.
