Welcome to the new performance season of the Grossmont Symphony Orchestra & Master Chorale! We are very excited about our concert offerings this year, especially with all performances occurring in the new 表演与视觉艺术中心 on the campus of Grossmont大学. I encourage you to join us as we explore a rich diversity of music from all corners of the globe.
音乐之友 is an organization dedicated to the support of the Grossmont Symphony Orchestra and Master Chorale, the Grossmont Symphony String Quintet and the Grossmont Symphony Woodwind Quintet. Our goals are threefold: presenting diverse classical music to audiences throughout San Diego County, bringing classical music to schools in East County through out String Outreach Program, and fund-raising to support these goals. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for helping to continue our musical outreach into the community.
This season our musical ensembles offer eleven concert experiences in many different venues throughout the county. You will find a listing of our concerts, dates and locations in our current brochure. The current performance season continues our school outreach program with the Grossmont Symphony String Quintet visiting music programs in our East County middle and high schools.
Our fund-raising efforts are many to help support these programs. Underwriting opportunities are available for the 音乐 in Schools program, and of individual concerts in our series, with program recognition for all contributors. 音乐之友 is under the auspices of the Foundation for Grossmont and Cuyamaca大学s, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization--Tax ID #452692818.
