The following requirements must be met to be awarded an Associate in Arts in Political Science for Transfer (A.A.-T) degree:

1. A minimum of sixty (60) semester units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University. Those units must include both of the following

• The CSU or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) General Education Breadth requirements; and
• A minimum of eighteen (18) semester units in a major or area of emphasis as determined by the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District.

2. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. Students are also required to earn a “C” grade or higher in all courses required for the major or area of emphasis.
