All 音乐 Majors at Grossmont大学 are encouraged to audition for a 音乐 Department Awards/Scholarship. Awards assist the student in paying for music lessons on their music instrument. To be eligible to audition, one must:
1)申报音乐专业(please declare with both the music dept. office as well as the Office of 招生 & Records)
2)注册以下每一门核心音乐课程：
- 音乐理论(MUS001, MUS105, MUS106, MUS205, MUS206) - 4个单元
- 钢琴课(MUS132, MUS133, MUS232, MUS233) - 3个单元
- 性能研究(MUS190, MUS191, MUS290, MUS291) - 1个单元
- 音乐合奏- 1单元
- 格罗斯蒙特主合唱团（MUS138, MUS139, MUS238, MUS239）
- 古典吉他合奏（MUS148, MUS149, MUS248, MUS249）
- 格罗斯蒙特交响乐团（MUS150, MUS151, MUS250, MUS251）
- 音乐会乐队（MUS152, MUS153, MUS252, MUS253）
- 非洲-古巴合奏团（MUS154, MUS155, MUS254, MUS255）
- 爵士乐团（MUS156, MUS157, MUS256, MUS257）
