Work-Based Learning for Students:
Work-based learning (WBL) allows students to apply classroom
content in professional settings while gaining real-world experience.
WBL exits on a continuum that reflects the progress of experiences
from awareness and exploration to preparation and training. Students
cycle through it many times throughout college and their careers.
Having trouble picking a major or deciding what career pathway is
right for you? Through Career Awareness & Exploration students will
become aware of the many career pathways in their area of study, gain
insights on the potential workplace setting and the
requirements/expectations from employers.
