This semester we have a selection of service opportunities from sorting food at San Diego's largest Food Bank to helping manage an art project at the 49th annual Chicano Park Day Celebration, and cummulating with a dodge ball/food drive tournament.

Did you know that Grossmont is committed to reducing its environmental impact with its innovative and eco-savy buildings and grounds? At this event, volunteers will learn about our college's commitment to building a sustainable and environmentally conscious campus as well as the unique geology surrounding us. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to get involved with one of its innovative design elements, and work together to preserve the beauty of our campus.

Come help out at one of Southern California's largest food banks, and have a behind the scenes look at the magnitude of our community's food insecurity. Volunteers will help with an assortment of tasks from assembling food packages for senior and family food programs to sorting, boxing, and labeling food donations.

Join the greater San Diego community as they celebrate the beauty and heritage of Chicano Park at the 49th annual Chicano Park Day celebration. Volunteers will lead and manage art workshops for the attending community. Sign-up for a two or three-hour shift and then enjoy an afternoon of music, art, and dance. Bring your friends and family to show off your bad, cultered self.
躲避球锦标赛为Gizmo的厨房提供资金

Join us for an all-campus dodgeball tournament that will benefit Gizmo's Kitchen (our student food pantry on campus). Bring your A game, at least 6 of your closest friends, and a bag of non-perishable food items to compete against other students, staff, and faculty. An awards ceremony and Month of Service pizza party celebration with follow the tournament.
